In this day and age when managers have gigantic desks a fold-out desk is a conscious declaration of individuality. Konstantin Grcic employed this aspect masterfully when designing Orcus. The reserved, almost demure lines convey a contemplative peacefulness. The writing surface of leather, a sensual pleasure for hand and eye reminds one of earlier epochs, when time passed more slowly. Nevertheless allowances have been made for electric cables for lamp or a PC.
Secretary desk in MDF and plywood, veneered or high gloss lacquered, drop-flap writing surface, 4 drawers, secret compartment, storage space for cables and power adapters. Lockable. Shelves can in some cases be pulled out or moved. Frame of chromium-plated steel. Adjustable feet.
